Organizing Committee of 2007 7th UN International Global Forum and World Harmony Series sent a letter to Teng Tou Village on June 11. The letter said Teng Tou won the title “Top Ten harmonious Village in the World”. Organizing Committee of China said on June 11 that Teng Tou was the only one in China to win this title. In addition, Organizing Committee sent a special note to Teng Tou Village, which said Secretary of Teng Tou Village Party Committee Fu Qiping won the title “2007 World Harmony Outstanding Figure ”. It is his 12th title at national level or above. Awarding ceremony of world harmony series will be held in Vienna on June 26. Mr. Fu will go to the ceremony on behalf of 800 villagers in Teng Tou.
