Approved by Ministry of Agriculture, Yin Zhou, Ci Xi and Ning Hai were covered in the list of counties, which can receive subsides for formula fertilization at the beginning of this year. Now, the work on inspecting lands and fertilizing land by formulas is in smooth progress. Till the end of June, 12 demonstration sites with the total area of 15000 mu have been set up in 3 counties. Yin Zhou, Ci Xi and Ning Hai have popularized this method in 243.400 mu of farmlands. The yields of rice and vegetables have increased 20240 tons and increased output value and reduced cost reached 12 million Yuan.
