Relying on its geological advantage as central urban district, Jiangdong is gaining momentum in attracting foreign investment. From Jan. to June this year, 29 foreign invested projects were newly approved and 3 projects increased capital, totaling investment of 118.24 million US dollars. The contracted foreign investment was 114.22 million US dollars, up 204.1% compared with the same period of last year. The actual utilized foreign investment amounted to 55.9 million US dollars, up 296.6%.
