The fourth phase of road transport project of Bei Lun Port is completed and will be open to traffic soon. It is the project for easing road transport in port area. Bei Lun Communications Bureau announced that the investment for road construction in port area will reach 15 billion Yuan in 4-5 years. In 2011, bottleneck problems of road transport will be eliminated basically. Currently, goods and containers handled by Ningbo Port have increased dramatically. Till Nov.15, Ningbo Port has handled 8 million of standard containers. It is expected Ningbo Port will handle 1.2 billion of containers in 2011.
