Mei Shan island was full of joy Friday morning.Member of Standing Committee of Zhe Jiang Party Committee， Secretary of Ningbo Party Committee and Chairman of Ningbo People’s Congress Ba Yin Chao Lu announced that the construction of infrastruction of container wharf in Free trade zone of Mei Shan Port began.In addition, he and Ningbo Mayor Mao Guanglie pressed the button to begin the construction of Mei Shan Bridge and construction of administrative and commercial center in Mei Shan Free trade Port Zone. All of projects are vital parts of Mei Shan Free trade Port Zone. In Feb.2008, State Councel approved the establishemnt of Mei Shan Free Trade Port Zone. It is the fifth zone of this kind in China and the only one in Zhe Jiang. The other 4 free Trade Port Zones are Yang Shan of Shanghai, Dong Jiang of Tian Jin,Da Yao Wan of Da Lian, Yang Pu of Hai Nan.
