For the first time, we have a three-day off when Qingming Festival comes. This happens due to the State Council (cabinet) revision of the nation's official holiday schedule to add three traditional festivals. In our Ningbo, there are various activities in which people pay their respects to deceased relatives and enjoy special food.

　　In Sanshi Village, Fenghua, local people are celebrating Qingming in their own ways. Collecting mugwort and making Qingtuan, a special local food. They even have a Qingtuan Festival, in which tourists can enjoy local traditional culture. Raising a tamper and making a Qingtuan is a great joy for them.

　　In Ninghai, collecting green grass and making Ciba, a special local food, is a long-lasting tradition in which people show remembrance of their ancestors. Qingmaci, a special local food is actually a rice roll with various green grasses in it. In Sangzhou village, local people are putting rice into a mortar. Several strong men are smashing the rice and another will feed rice into the mortar. Women are helping to steam the smashed rice.
