Methane, ethane, platinum, cadmium and other kinds of high-pollution, high-risk goods were added to the prohibited category of processing or trade. Such products can not be subject to export or import.

　　The adjustment of the prohibited directory was implemented for the purpse of optimizing the structure of China's export commodities and preventing high-pollution, high-risk commodities from exporting and importing. It is also said that the adjustment will promote the transformation and upgrading of the processing trade, and guide enterprises to develop industries with a higher technological content.

　　At present, a total of 1,816 were included in the prohibited category.
