A five year long project of receiving immigrants from Tankeng Hydropower Station area has been accomplished successfully with a high praise granted by both provincial and municipal governments.

　　Over 397 immigrants from 110 households have been settled in 14 villages in Beilun, living in the provided houses. With the land and job assigned by the local villages, the immigrants were able to live an independent life. All the immigrants, with the great help of local government and local residents, have been gradually mingled into the local society.
