The city government approved in principal the adjustment scheme for the Basic Medicare Insurance for urban workers last week. The adjustment aims to raise the medical care benefits for the insured without having to increase the fees for the individuals, the insured companies or institutions. The adjustment plan intends to make better use of the medical facilities in residential communities. It covers seven aspects of the medical insurance, including the cutting down of the premium.
