Sinopec Zheng Hai Refining is a big supplier of energy and takes on heavy responsibility of energy saving and less discharge. The group has signed agreement with Ningbo Government and ensured that energy consumption per unit of main products would drop by 1% in 2008. In order to meet this goal, the group has set up 11 teams for solving problems on energy saving, gas consumption, application of geothermy etc. So far, 193 measures have been proposed.
