Peter Handstein, a German, is the CEO of Ningbo Yiren Toy Co. Ltd based in Beilun. For years he has been donating for the building of primary schools in Guizhou, a remote province in China.

　　To commemorate his grandaunt who was a teacher and brought up his family, Peter set up a school named after her in Guizhou in 2003. "The best gift for kids is to build a school for them", said Peter.

　　Last week, another school by the name of Doris was set up with his contribution and a teaching building had got the cornerstone laid. Besides, Peter Handstein also plans to build a vocational school in Guizhou soon.
