In 2007, Administration Committee of Dong Qian Lake Resort aimed at popularizing brand and image of Dong Qian Lake. Under the slogan “Hello, Dong Qian Lake”, administration Committee organized over 1000 Shanghai tourists to Dong Qian Lake and held introduction meeting in Shanghai and HK. Dong Qian Lake made the debut in Yangtze Delta and HK. In 2007, GDP of Dong Qian Lake reached 1.928 billion Yuan, up 15.2%. Investment of fixed assets reached 3.35 billion Yuan, up 26.28%. Tourists of 1.65 million generated tourist income of 700 million Yuan up 18.4%. In 2008, Dong Qian Lake will aim at Beijing Olympic Games and Hang Zhou Bay Bridge. Dong Qian Lake will be backyard of people in Yangtze delta. Therefore, the target in 2008 is to build ecological lake and Leisure Lake. Tourists will reach 2 million person-time and tourist income 860 million Yuan.
