Beilun Industrial and Commercial Bureau paid much attention to the management of the market during the May 1 holiday to make sure the local costumers could celebrate the holiday in a safe and health way.

　　The first was to operate a thorough examine on the food market, with focus on meat, cooking oil, grains, snacks, wine and spirits.

　　The second was to focus on the cultural market during holiday. Together with other related government organizations, the local industrial and commercial bureau checked the net bars and video game rooms in the district and shut several illegal business operations down.

　　The third was to pay much attention to the tourist agencies. Working with the Consumers’ Rights Protection Committee, the local industrial and commercial bureau managed well to protect the rights of the tourist and maintain a good order of the tourism market.

　　The fourth was to regulate the promotions held by various supermarkets and department stores with the key on whether there was any cheating or misleading of the consumers.
