On May 7, a Ningbo Culture Week, an event jointly sponsored by the city's publicity department, the foreign affairs office and the Media and Press Bureau, was put on at Nottingham of UK- a sister city of Ningbo. This was the first time that Ningbo put on a cultural week in other land. During the 7 days, the Art Troupe of Ningbo would give various performances on city squares, schools and communities of the city. The performers would also have some interactive activities with the local students and residents.
