According to Ningbo Xingguang Gas Company, this year, Ningbo will try its best to ensure 80,000 households in old living quarters to use quality gas, about 30000 households more than it planned earlier this year. By the end this year, the households that can use gas will number over 200,000.

　　Ningbo started to renew the urban gas network since 1994, and so far it has over 2000 km of pipelines, and all for liquidized gas. In recent five years, Ningbo has been vigorously developing natural gas supply, and by June last year, the renovation of the pipelines for the natural gas was essentially completed, and about 110,000 households were supplied with natural gas. However, over 100,000 households in old living quarters are unable to use natural gas.

　　The natural gas renovation project for the old living quarters is a major task this year. By the end of this year, Ningbo will have over 210,000 natural gas users.
