The other day, massive petrogrmas were found in Dabaizhang Village, Hepu Town of Xiangshan. Experts say that they cannot ascertain the age of the petrograms and that they are estimated to be made in the Song or Yuan dynasty.

　　The petrograms are pictures of gods, fishes, boats and mules, with plain and bold lines, precise and vivid.

　　The researchers say the 16 petrograms found are well preserved. Petrograms are usually found in northwest of China, and they are usually 6000 to 10,000 in age. The petrograms in such a great number are rarely found in Zhejiang. Guessed from the patterns and other traces, these petrograms are about 800 years old.
