Statistics show that the port of Ningbo has for successfully two year surpassed Shanghai Port, and now it has become the first choice for enterprises in Zhejiang.

　　With the opening of the expressways and the expanded handling capacity of the port of Ningbo, enterprises in Shaoxing, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Lishui and Quzhou more and more favor the port of Ningbo. In the first quarter of this year, the volume of import and export of the enterprises from Zhejiang via the port of Ningbo reaches 21.31 billion US dollars, increasing by 30.1%. In the same period, the import and export via Shanghai is only 17.11 billion, increasing by 21.8%.
