For the 18th Disabled Day of China (May 18), Yesterday morning, Ningbo Disabled Persons' Federation, Ningbo Telecommunications Bureau and Ningbo Municipal Education Commission jointly held a party in Ningbo School of Deaf-mutes, to aid the disabled people. Chen Bingshui, Vice Mayor, and Chang Minyi, Vice Chairman of Ningbo Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, and other government officials attended the party.

　　On the spot, Ningbo Company of China Telecom donated 6,500 special telephones for the disabled, and 100,000 yuan to the disabled people in the city. Ningbo Municipal Education Commission donated some sports equipment valuing 10,000 to the school. The theme of the disabled day this year is “Helping the disabled people and Meeting the Paralympic Games. On the same day, Ningbo School of Deaf-mutes opened its sports meet. In Jiangdong District, Sunny Station, a recovery center of mentally disabled children was founded.
