In view that 14 million people in Sichuan are in want of houses, the CPC Central Committee decided to build one million temporary settlement houses in the quake-affected areas. It was decided that Ningbo would help build 20,000 of them in Guangyuan City of Sichuan. Last Monday, a construction team of 18 members set out for Guangyuan. This was also the first construction team that Ningbo had dispatched to Sichuan.

　　The 18 people setting out are mostly personnel of comprehensive coordination, on-site management and logistics guarantee for the would-be-set-up field command post. They fly to Chengdu on the very afternoon and drive to Guangyuan at the very night.

　　Zhou Ze, Chief of Comprehensive Coordination,says: “Our first task is to get in touch with local authorities so as to get the field support and made the infrastructural facilities available. Our mission is to make everything ready our construction workers who are to arrive soon.”
