Ningbo Customs has discovered a batch of smuggling grains. When Ningbo Customs checked steel shelves exported to The United Arab Emirates by a Shen Zhen company, they saw rice bags full of whole container, weighting 22.5 tons. In fact, Ningbo Customs has treated 7 cases dealing with exported food. Officials from Ningbo Customs said in these cases, companies used false article names---caps, notebooks etc. Exported grains covered flour, rice, sausages, instant noodles, cans etc. Some times, a container just was like a small supermarket. According to the regulation issued by General Administration of Customs, 5% -25% of tariff must be paid during the export of 57 kinds of raw grains and their flours. As grain prices are growing at international markets and grain prices in China are much lower than that, the huge profits can be gained if exporting grains from China to foreign countries. That is why more cases dealing with grain export are discovered.
