According to Ningbo Municipal Government yesterday, Ningbo has decided to speed up phasing out substances that delete the Ozone layer.

　　According to the announcement, from today on, Ningbo will eliminate the production and use of chorofluorocarbon polymer and halon with only exceptions in equipment maintenance. By January 1, 2010, all production and use of carbon tetrachloride and methyl chloroform will be stopped, and by January 1, 2015, the production and use of bromomethane will be obsolete. With this decision, all manufacturers (including the private) ones that produce, use, store, and sell chorofluorocarbon polymer, halon, carbon tetrachloride, methyl chloroform and bromomethane should be registered in the local environment production departments.

　　From today on, all qualified repair shops for auto air conditioners and centralized air conditioners when repairing and using equipment that uses chlorofluorocarbon polymer shall retrieve and dispose the refrigerant according to related regulations, and get registered in local environment protection departments.
