Now, communities in Ningbo are calling on families to save energy as a part of the construction of civilized families.

　　Ningbo Women's Association, will related departments, will elect 100 Model Families in Energy Saving and Environment Protection and 30 Energy Saving Demonstrative Communities. This project aims to mobilize families and communities to make active efforts to live a simple and environmental-friendly life, and contribute to energy saving and reducing pollution.

　　Ningbo is encouraging residents to use energy saving utensils, energy saving house appliances, phosphate-free laundry detergent powder, and refuse using plastic bags.
