On June 7, 2008 China Opening-up Forum was held in Ningbo. Director of Development Research Center of State Council and Secretary of Party group Zhang Yutai made key note speech. Member of standing committee of Zhe Jiang Party Committee, Secretary of Ningbo Party Committee and Chairman of Ningbo people’s Congress Ba Yin Chao Lu delivered the speech. This forum is sponsored by Development research center of State Council and Zhe Jiang government. Lasting for one and half days, the forum was themed with “coastal area---to emancipate the mind and to open-up further”. Attendees looked back the experiences in past years, discussed the opportunity, trend and challenge of opening up in coastal area in order to upgrade opening up level and promote opening –up in entire China
