Another incubation and innovation service platform which integrates comprehensive functions like office block, business incubator, exhibition and trade, professional market, etc, namely the Technology Innovation Building of University Science Park has been completed. The construction completion ceremony was held on June 6. It is one of the bases for creative industry in Ningbo with distinct themes, complete facilities and favorable policies. The technology innovation build, which began construction in June 2006, covers an area of 3,490 square meters. Its floor space is about 26,000 square meters. The building will provide the University Science Park with further rental services of venues for research and development, production, business-office, conference, exhibition, business talk and so on. At the completion ceremony, 6 service agencies such as Zhenhai Incubator of Returned Overseas Students and Zhenhai Scientific and Technological Public Service, as well as the first batch famous scientific institutions settled in the building including Ningbo Branch of National Engineering Research Center of Beijing University, have been conferred the plates. After the ceremony, Zhenhai Scientific Innovation Service Center and enterprises in Zhenhai signed 44 cooperation projects with Ningbo Software Engineering Base Development Company, Ningbo Bo’ao Bioengineering Co., Ltd and so on, totaling investment of 117 million yuan.
