To better promote the identification of ISO14001 environment management system and to increase the competitive power of the local enterprises, Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee issued an awarding policy in 2005 to encourage the local enterprises to participate in the identification of the system.

　　After two years, there are 45 local enterprise have been identified by the ISO 14001 environment management system, winning 910,000 yuan from the government. The awarding policy has played a vital role in promoting the environment management system in the district.

　　There are more enterprises that are applying for the identification of ISO 14001 environment management system, the popularization of which will certainly play a positive role in protecting the environment and uplifting the quality of the enterprises.
