From this week on, plastic bags are prohibited to a certain extent. On one hand, consumers have to pay if they want to use plastic bags. On the other hand, the production of plastic bags thinner than 0.025 millimeter will be prohibited all over the country.
In a supermarket, residents seemed to have prepared for non-plastic-bag shopping. They put their shopping in the bags brought from their homes or in recycle bags. Some were not aware of the prohibition, but they finally expressed that they supported the prohibition after talking with clerks in the supermarket.
Experts say consumers can use recycle bags instead plastic ones. Consumers can even use bowls when they buy meat, aquatic products, pickles and other cooked food. Plastic bags, experts add, can be used for more than once if some consumers still have some.
