The related departments in Beilun tried their best to promote the employment of people from the earth-stricken areas. First, they created an expressway for the people from earth-stricken areas by providing various services such as policy introduction, job guidance and professional agency free of charge.

　　Second, they registered all the intellectuals from earth-stricken areas and provided them with opportunities to get access to job interviews and trainings freely. Now, 57 have been registered and 1124 job opportunities have been provided by 85 local companies.

　　Third, they tried their best to recommend the suitable intellectuals to the companies in need by various means as news papers, phones, and the Internet. Until now, 23 have been successfully recommended.

　　Forth, they tried their best to find out more job opportunities by visiting local enterprises and encouraging them to hire people from the earth-stricken areas.
