Since May 18, the auditing departments of the city have done a follow-up auditing of the quake-relief donations colleted by the civil affairs departments, the red-cross and the charity federation. Last Tuesday, the results were made public, which showed that the donations are well managed and that no diversion or embezzlement has been detected so far.

　　With regard to money donations, by June 16, the civil affairs departments, the Red Cross and the charity organizations have received a total amount of RMB 531 million and 93 Yuan.

　　About the expenditure of the money donations. The city has earmarked 185.65 million for purchasing of relief materials. By June 16, the balance of money donations stood at 345.46 million yuan. The unused balance will be used for quake relief only. With regard to the material donations, the civil affairs, Red Cross and the charity organizations have received a total of 101.53 million yuan of relief materials by June 16. So far batches of materials worth about 100.89 million yuan have been dispatched to quake-hit areas in Sichuan and Gansu. The unused balance is about RMB 395,000 yuan.
