Recently, Wu Jingguo, Member of the International Olympic Committee and Chairman of IBF, Chang Jianping, Chairman of China Boxing Federation, and Cheng Chongyue, Vice Mayor of Ningbo, signed "Agreement on Hosting City of 2008 World Women Boxing Championship". According to the agreement, the 5th World Women Boxing Championship is to be hosted by the International Boxing Federation, and undertaken by China Fashion Association and Ningbo Municipal Government. The championship shall open from November 20 to November 20 in Ningbo. It is the first time for China to host the championship.
