At the award ceremony of Ningbo 2008 Chahua Award held in Nanyuan Hotel by Ningbo Municipal Government, 18 experts from Germany, Bulgaria, UK, USA, Turkey, and Japan were awarded the Chahua Award. Wu Hemin, Vice Mayor of Ningbo awarded the prize.

　　The Chahua Award is set by Ningbo Municipal Government for the foreign experts who make outstanding contribution for the development of Ningbo. This is the 12th session of the award.
