In Beilun Modern Agricultural Development Zone, there is a plant tissue culture center, called base of plant cloning. Cooperated with Beijing Forestry University and Zhejiang Provincial Academy of Agricultural Science, the center has cloned over 5 million saplings of over 10 varieties of rare plants including photinia frasery, golden-veined forsythia, red-leaf cherry. These saplings are sold over the country and exported to Europe.
