On June 22nd, a team of 30 teachers and 60 students from Great Britain participated in a summer camp in Ningbo Nottingham University. The summer camp is jointly held by a women’s school, HSBC and Nottingham University in Great Britain. In a week of summer camp, English teachers and students will work with 30 Chinese students in rather a lot of activities, including group works, topic lecturing, learning paper cutting and how to make dragon lanterns and how to perform dragon dance. The purpose of the summer camp is said to improve the students’ sense of innovation, leadership and team spirit.
