Due to the lasting hot weather, since July 2 the city has entered the peak season of electricity use, with the maximum electricity load breaking through 5.6 million kilowatt hours, about 200,000 kilowatt hours more than that of last year. It is estimated that in this summer the peak load will surpass six million kwh and by then some restricting measures will be taken in some areas of the city. Therefore, the electricity departments call for a rational and economical use of electric power.
