Associate professor Chen Jigang of the Wanli University went to Shanghai for the 3rd Chinese National Arctic Expedition last week. He would be part of the research team for this expedition which would last for 78 days in the North Pole. He would conduct the research on diversity of organisms in the oceanic sediment of the Arctic. This project is part of the serial program on marine cooperation between Chinese and German governments.
