The summer holidays for school children begins on July 5, according to the Education Bureau. The next semester is to begin on Sept. 1. To let students have happy and meaningful summer holidays, the education bureau bans any kind of training classes organized by the schools during the holidays. It has also made some specific requirements on safety of swimming, transportation, summer camps, and military training, etc.
