The first Ningbo-Taiwan Tourist Group started enrolment on 15th this month, however, according to Ningbo Branch of Zhejiang China Tourist Agency, all the quota of 33 was ordered up early on the 16th. Yesterday, the tourists started going through related formalities to Taiwan.
In this first group, half of it are middle-aged and aged people. Wang Jin, Manager of the agency said, in the past, people in Mainland China found it hard to go to Taiwan, and this added to the mystery to Taiwan. In addition, such scenic spots as Ali Mountain and Riyuetan Pool in Taiwan are well known to the people and therefore, many Ningbo people are looking forward to visiting Taiwan.
The 8-day tour is charged 10,500 yuan, and the tour covers Hualien, Taitung, Kaohsiung, Chiayi and Puli.
