The feasibility report of the express passenger line of Hang-Yong Railway recently passed examination and the express line is expected to start construction within this year, according to the expert inspection meeting yesterday.

　　Authorized by State Development and Reform Commission, from July 17 to 19, China International Construction Project Consulting Corporation held a meeting on the report of the feasibility of the express passenger line of Hang-Yong Railway. With strict inspection, the experts concludes that the project is feasible and operational. After the official reply from the national development and reform committee, the project is likely to start construction within this year.

　　The express passenger line starts from Hangzhou East Railway Station, through Xiaoshan, Shaoxing, Shangyu, Yuyao and ends at Ningbo Railway Station, The total length of the railway is 156 km, The designed speed of the line is above 200 km per hour. The investment for the project is estimated to be 19.58 billion yuan, co-invested by the National Railway Ministry and Zhejiang Province. It is planned to be completed in 4 years.
