After the conference of Cross-straits Relation Association and Straits Exchange Foundation, it has been confirmed that travelling to Taiwan can be initiated from June 18. According to the arrangement of Ministry of Public Security, residents of Ningbo can now apply for touring in Taiwan.

　　It is said that travelling to Taiwan can only be organized in form of package tour by travel agencies designated by the National Tourism Administration. The daily number of tourists to Taiwan is limited as 1,000. Tourists can stay in Taiwan for at most 10 days.

　　Local public security bureaus can issue visas valid within a period of three months. In 15 days, local public security bureaus have to finish all application process. It is said that there are three travel agencies which are qualified to organize traveling to Taiwan, including China Travel Agency (Zhejiang), China Youth Travel Agency (Zhejiang) and China Travel Agency (Hangzhou).
