Large scale dance drama “Wedding, Dreams of Maidens”, which describes the wedding culture of Zhejiang, started rehears yesterday. The drama is a work of two years by Zhejiang and Ningbo literary federations and Zhejiang Dancers Association. The work was in 2007 listed in Zhejiang Culture Project and in 2008 it is listed in the Key Cultural Project of Zhejiang and Ningbo. It is learned that in writing the drama, many famous artists including Zhang Yimou were invited to contribute their advice to the drama.

　　According to Wang Xiaoying, general director of the drama, Wedding, Dreams of Maidens concentrates on the wedding customs in Zhejiang and describes the beautiful dreams of maidens in Jiangnan by means of classical Chinese dances and local Zhejiang music.

　　The drama is performed by Ningbo Municipal Song and Dance Troupe, and the public performance is in October.
