The launch ceremony of the Wanhua Industrial Park, a project costing over 10 billion RMB yuan was held last Wednesday at Daxie Development Zone. Party Secretary Bayin Chaolu declared the launch of the project. The Wanhua Industrial Park will house four projects, which are respectively 300,000 ton MDI Phase-2 project of Wanhua, 300,000-ton PVC Project of Hanwah Chemical Corporation, Lynd ASU Project and East-Port Electrization ion film caustic soda project. The Industrial Park will be built with an investment of 10.3 billion yuan. In addition, the Bridge No. 2 project of Daxie was also launched. The bridge starts fro the west flank of the Daxie Island and stretches over Huangsijiang area, about 1.6 KM away from the Daxie Cross-sea Bridge. It spans over 5.5 kilometers.
