The master plan for the Ningbo-Zhou Port passed the appraisal conducted by the ministry of Transportation and the Zhejiang People's Government. According to the plan, in five years to come, a number of logistic parks and industrial zones will be set up in the port area. The Ningbo-Zhoushan Port is planned to have 19 zones, such as Yongjiang River, Zhenhai, Beilun, Chuanshan, Daxie, Meishan etc. There will be formed seven container transporation zones and logistic parks in Beilun, Jintang, Chuanshan, Daxie, Meishan, Liuheng and Yangshan.
