　　The theme of the forum this year is "integrated and sustainable development of ocean and land". The forum assembles experts in oceanic economy and industry in China, and representatives of famous oceanic enterprises.

　　It is learned that Songlan Mountain in Xiangshan is the permanent meeting place of the forum. The honorary chairman of the forum is Jiang Zhenghua, Vice Chairman of the National People's Congress. Yesterday afternoon, 2008 China Top 10 Oceanic Environment Protectors was released. Lin Yongfa, a fisherman from Xiangshan, and other 9 persons and units were entitled top 10 ocean environment protectors.
