The five-day-long China Industrial Design Week cum China Ningbo International Industrial Design Expo (Ningbo) opened at the conference and exhibition center on the 20th of September. In an area of 13,000 square meters thousands of industrial designs and products are showcased, attracting throngs of visitors.

　　The expo has sections of high-end industrial design awards, Ningbo innovative Industrial design products, disaster relief and safety aid products, Creative China, Institutions and companies of industrial design, etc. More than100 institutions and companies from about 10 countries and regions like Italy, Germany, Japan and the US have come to the expo. The German IF award, a prestigious brand in the industrial design circle, has come to China for the first time. At the expo, the German delegation exhibits some prize winner products of Apple, Bosch, Siemms, etc.
